Why you’ll want luxury vinyl flooring in every room

With true-to-life echoes of wood, stone, and tile, luxury vinyl flooring is so stylish it’s sometimes difficult to tell the difference between that and the real thing. It’s 100% waterproof, making it ideal for the kitchen, bath, or other wet rooms. It’s so stylish, and it looks just as good in the living room, hallway, or bedroom.

Stylish savings

Images are created with digital photography, so you'll see knots, grains, swirls, wormholes, and veining variations, all available in a wide assortment of colors. Since this follows industry trends, you can have marble, gray wood floors, or colorful geometric tile patterns. The floors have micro beveling and deep embossing to add depth, dimension, and textured features.

The material can be cut into strips and mounted on boards to mimic hardwood planks, called vinyl plank flooring, or square pieces to mimic stone and tile, called LVT flooring. Many feel the extra seams add even more to the realism, and some take it even further by using grout with the tiles.

Other benefits include

We call this Stylish Affordability.  It might look like wood, stone, or tile, but you won't pay nearly the same price. It’s also durable with a top clear melamine wear layer that protects the floor from scratches, scuffs and keeps spills on the top waiting to be wiped off.

Maintenance is easy, just requiring daily sweeping and periodic mopping with a manufacturer-approved cleaner. Avoid waxy, shine-promoting cleaners as they can dull.  Consult your flooring expert if you think you need more shine.

Installation can be an uncomplicated floating floor where pieces click together, mat, and then hover with no nails or glue needed. Subfloors need only be clean, dry, and level.
